What a great 4th of July!

First off I want to give a big blogger hug to my very talented daughter who updated Mel’s blog for us!! What a beautiful job Tiff! You captured Melaney to a T!

What a great time we all had on the 4th! All of my daughters, sons-in-law, boyfriend, therapists, therapist’s husband and daughter were here! Oh, yes, least we forget, 4 of the 6 granddogs were here also!

The food was awesome thanks to Robert, Kim’s husband, who spent all morning preparing the most unbelievable ribs, literally the best I have ever eaten, and Mel’s dad, Geoff, who manned the grill for mouth watering burgers and hot dogs. Plus some magnificent salsa by Henry and an avacado-black bean dip by Nancy!

One of the best parts was that we were joined by Pat, Nancy and Irma, three of Mel’s fabulous five. Irma also brought along her husband Henry and her daughter Rachael. Several of the family had not yet met these three wonderful ladies so the 4th was a perfect excuse to get them all together. Pat brought along some of Mel’s pool gear that she uses in therapy so we were able to get her in the pool here at home. As you can tell from the following pictures, she loved it. Looks like another great Robb party. I so enjoy watching my girls when they get together. The only person MIA in the pictures with Mel is Carly. She left the party early to head for the airport. She is now in Australia for 10 days!!! We missed her in the pool but WOW, how awesome to be a “world traveler”. :-)

Now that's what I call chillin'! Always have to sneak in a little therapy here and there.

The rest of the family enjoyed meeting the three great ladies. Pat had to leave early before the pool fun and pictures commenced because she had family visiting from out of town.

Some people can sleep anywhere!! Or is Rachael just waiting for some vollyball action?

This was so much fun! I feel an annual event coming on.
