Thursday, August 27 was a red letter day! The long awaited and much coveted power wheel chair/stander finally arrived!
Mel in her old chair ready to go to pick up her new ride.
Zack wanted to go too but had to wait at home.
She was sooooooooooooooo very excited!
This was a 5 hour process………..no wonder she looks exhausted. I sure was.
She even managed to work in a quick nap.
FINALLY!
She is ready to roll!
No, it doesn’t come in purple or teal so we picked the brightest “butterfly” color they had.
This thing has as many “bells and whistles” as an E Class Mercedes and costs as much too………..thank God for a great insurance company!
But it is here, it is wonderful and it is a gift from God because of all of your faithful prayers.
Melaney and I thank each and everyone of you who pass by to see how she is doing.
We appreciate all of you so much! You are in our prayers also.

Awesome, awesome, AWESOME!!! That new chair ROCKS, and will be worth every one of those tiring hours for fittings! The butterflies are definitely the best part (besides the Bluetooth of course, what!?!) ... so happy to hear it's finally YOURS! I can't wait to see how she does with it... keep us posted!
p.s. yay for getting caught up (we all know that feeling!), and LOVE LOVE the new layout.... FABULOUS work T-Chiz!!!

melaney's new wheels are totally FANtastic! i love the butterflies and love that it's yellow! i can't wait to see all of melaney's progress! i'm sure that this chair will be a huge blessing! :) YEAH!
Yay.. this is wonderful news!! Her awesome new wheels have arrived. I hope she enjoys it and does well with all the nice added features. The butterflies add a sweet touch that makes it hers! :)
Mel has been in my thoughts for two years. Both Mel's and my friend from soccer and FSMS Pals, Michelle Alexander, sent me the link to this blog. I am SOOOOO happy to see she is getting better. I was looking for updates on the Facebook Group Carly made, but it was not updated. Maybe she should post this on there?
