It has been more than a month since my last post. Yes I have been a real blog slacker. Thanks to Tiff we have a new background that is ssoooo Mel. That finally motivated me, so I will just take things in chronological order.
AHHHHHH….Vacation 2009: July 18 to August 1 on (what’s left of) Lake Travis.
This is actually how I packed for Mel for two weeks at the lake!
Can anyone relate to or top this?
Our little piece of Paradise for two weeks.
The lake was so low that they had to keep adding steps down so they could float the boat dock. It was the going back up that was tough!
Sooo………I left a little liquid refreshment half way for my trip back up.
What a view from the patio over the fountain in the infinity edge pool.
Looks like you could just float out into the lake. What a great time on the jet skis and tube.
Melaney had a bird’s eye view of all of the activities from the top of the patio.
P.S. She really is not that sunburned……….not sure where all the red came from in this picture.
We enjoyed many glorious sunsets.
Deer were everywhere.Hmmm…..one of the favorite pass times of the sisters… and it is not ping pong.
Mel spent a lot of time in the pool and loved every minute.
We all know which sister REALLY finished that bottle of wine.
You know the Robb sister’s sense of humor!
Off the lake, these were everyone’s favorite modes of transportation.
We used them to get up close and personal with the deer population.”Boys will be boys.”
Hitting golf balls across the lake? Then they took the jet skis over to see how many actually made it.
Yes!
That little white orb in front of and to the left of Robert’s elbow is the golf ball ricocheting off the stair rail and going into the pool!
Bet he couldn’t do that again in a million years!!!
THERE’S THE PROOF!
That little white orb (aka golf ball) is definitely in the pool.Mary enjoying a little pool time.
That is the sign language sign for “I love you”.
Melaney taught her that.
We tried to keep Melaney cool as she watched the guys play some ping pong.
The temperature ranged from 100 to 106 the whole time we were there so her outdoor time was limited to very short sessions.
It was about time to go inside and cool off.
She was finding the guys ping pong antics very amusing.
The sun finally set on our vacation.
It was a great two weeks. We were blessed with many good memories.
